Go Green!

Who doesn’t love St. Patrick’s Day? A holiday celebrated around the world. But let’s be honest, it’s just another excuse for fish and chips, guzzling down a glass of Guinness and sporting some green. I’m all for it. And I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love to wear green. Wink.

Regardless, I thought this would be a good opportunity to go over my children’s ancestry. Are they Irish? Ya bloody right they are. But how much? Here’s their makeup:

German: 80%
Czechoslovakian: 5%
Welch: 5%
Russian: 5%
Irish: <5%
Norwegian: <3%

Okay, so mathematically there isn’t much Irish in them but I’d like to think they’ve got the wit, tenacity, and liver of a 100% Irishman. Ha!
